Peace Bookmark
Crafted by Syrian refugees living in Lebanon
This delicately embroidered bookmark is handcrafted by Syrian refugee women living in Lebanon. Inspired by the stained-glass windows of Aleppo, it celebrates memories of home and the cultural traditions carried across borders. Each piece is stitched by hand using traditional embroidery techniques.
Today, many refugee families in Lebanon continue to face uncertainty as conflict affects communities across the country. Through their craft, these artisans are able to earn an income, support their families and preserve cultural heritage.
