Aleppo Collection Dolls
Crafted by Syrian refugees living in Lebanon
Dolls with intricate embroidery depicting the personal hopes, dreams and aspirations of Syrian refugees.
Families forced to flee the conflict in Syria shared their stories and hopes for the future as letters and drawings, which inspired the illustrations on the dolls. Each doll was given the name of a refugee and part of the proceeds go back to that refugee. A small card with the name and story of the refugee it was made for is tucked into a pocket on the back of the doll.
