Made from sustainably harvested raffia palm fibers, each hat is a testament to the artistry, patience, and ancestral knowledge of Burundian and Congolese women artisans. Using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations, artisans honor centuries-old craftsmanship and techniques once used in basketry and ceremonial adornments.
