Crafted by Syrian-Armenian women displaced from Syria now living in Armenia

These handcrafted Easter Eggs are felted using locally-produced wool and decorated with Marash embroidery - a technique originating from a city in ancient Armenia. For Syrian refugee artisans of Armenian descent, the cross symbolizes the "Tree of Life", love, equality, solidarity and harmony. Each set contains three felted eggs in an embroidered cotton pouch.
